A 2001 graduate from University of New Jersey School of Mediine and Dentistry, School of Osteopathy, Dr Lacount completed her Residency in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at the Eastern Virginia University of Medicine in 2004. In addition to practicing and studying Medicine, Dr Lacount's interests are diverse including outdoor activities, interior design and spirituality
INTRODUCING DR. FISCHER AND CHIROPRACTIC SERVICES
DR. Fischer earned her doctorate of chiropractic degree from National University of Health Sciences in Lombard IL, recognized as one of the most rigorous training and academic programs in the Chiropractic world. She has a Bachelor of Science degree in Physiology and Neurobiology from the University of Maryland where she was a member of the Honors Program. In addition to being a licensed chiropractor, Dr Fischer also has Physical Therapy privileges which allow her to perform muscle and joint rehabilitation using various physical therapy modalities.
Dr Fischer is originally from the Hudson Valley in New York and has lived in Maryland since December 2007. When she is not working to help her patients she enjoys jogging, walking her dog along the harbor, and exploring everything Maryland has to offer. She is training to complete the National Half Marathon in Washington, D.C. this spring.
DR. Fischer takes pride in getting to know her patients and educating them on how to live a healthy lifestyle. She feels it is important to be a strong support system for her patients on their road to wellness. Being a chiropractor allows her to help people live a pain-free lifestyle and reach all of there health goals. She has a special interest in addressing and correcting limitations in her patient's activities of daily living.
